By Following the Guidance of Advocate S. Harjinder Singh Dhami, President of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), Sri Amritsar Sahib, and Secretary Education S. Sukhwinder Singh Ji,Bhai Sangat Singh Khalsa College,Banga has made history not only in academics but also in the field of sports. In the Grappling (Wrestling) World Cup 2025 held in Astana, Kazakhstan from June 12–15, 2025, Akashdeep,a student of BA IInd Year of our institution,won a bronze medal while representing India in the 71 kg weight category,bringing pride to the nation. Akashdeep,the athlete of Bhai Sangat Singh Khalsa College Banga, was the only wrestler from Punjab to represent India in this World Cup. It is worth mentioning that earlier this year, two female students from the institution, Manisha and Jashandeep, also brought honor to the country, the institution, and the SGPC by winning gold medals while representing the Indian Kabaddi team in England.
